wonder

Is it any wonder that I miss you like your mine

Oh sweet heart you've broken this sweet heart
Oh sweet heart you've broken me.

You set my world on fire
I'm turning inside out to be with you
So I'll be waiting here
And our love can live forever
Coz In your eyes I've seen who I could be
So I'll be waiting here

Is it any wonder that you stole this heart of mine
Is it any wonder that our worlds are now entwined
Often I have wondered if I need a redesign

I wrote this awhile back, for a friend...

How blessed we are
to have such a friend
The Lord knew best
when He did send
To share of her talents
and gifts of love
Will please the Heavenly
Father above

How blessed we are
to have such a friend
Whose lovingkindness
endures to the end
She reaches out with
a loving heart
Sister to sister
God's love will impart

How blessed we are
to have such a friend
With patient guidance
Her Father's children she does tend
To all who draw near
there will be no greater pleasure
Than a friend that loves like Jesus
Oh, what a treasure!

when Isaac wants me to hold or carry him, he'll say, "I heavy"
:)

"change my heart, O Lord..."

Change my heart, O Lord. Give me contentment and help me to sacrifice it all for You, and You alone. Cleanse me and heal me.

"The Moon"

"The Moon"
Originally uploaded by mel's place
When Stevie was a toddler, she pointed up to the night sky and said, "look, Mommy, the moon!". On that particular night, the moon was a crescent and I replied, "Yes, it's a crescent moon". Stevie responded, "crescent moon, Mommy", and from then on, she knew the difference between a full moon and a crescent.
When Makenzie was a toddler, she pointed up to the night sky and said, "look, Mommy, the moon!" Once again, it was a night with a crescent moon and so I said, "Yes, it's a crescent moon". Makenzie's response was quite different, "NO! Mommy, it's the moon!"

Amazing how children can be so different...

"Train a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not turn from it." ~Proverbs 22:6

We should take the time to learn our children's God-given bents and guide them accordingly...
