I'd love to say yes, but...no. I've been there. My problem is that I just can't stop. I always keep one of the starters and keep making it over and over and over and over. It's a compulsive thing. AARRGH!
Well, long story short, Stevie wanted to keep a starter and make more (our third set) and then due to circumstances and being forgetful, we managed to have all four starters on day 10 (baking day). Four starters makes 8 loaves of bread and sixteen starters! :P We were able to give the bread away QUICKLY, however, I had to beg people to take the starters. I still have one starter left! I'm too OCD to throw it away!!

Umm, how did you end up with 16 starters??? I did this once and had trouble keeping one starter alive :)
I have not done it again since that time, but I must say the bread did come out really good.
